well...im still in my sonic youth phase. the song im listening to now is "purr".....purr is an amazing song, i love it.
ok well anywayss....im going to be renting mario brothers the movie today, for those of you who haven't seen it........you fucking suck and you need to come over my house and watch it with me.
in band news....it's only me and skinny, weston is away at boot camp still.....so yea obviously he cant come to band practice. but we are in the process of making a new album...its going to be in alot better quality then befor, the graphics and covers are going to be amazing(made by me and skinny). the songs themselves are going to be amazing, because im not letting anything on it that is less than perfection. the album name......i dont know yet, i'l name it when recording all the songs is done. with songs.....there's going to be approximatly 12 songs anywhere from 1.5-4 minutes long(note there wont be much 1.5 or 4 minute ones, it will be mostly 2-3 minute long ones)
but yeah when we get one song perfectly recorded...we are putting it on our purevolume.com site for you to hear........well thats all i have, stay tuned for the next episode of my shity ass life.

well.....i met with my probation officer today, and im on indefinate probation. that means they can keep me on probation untill im 21, but that probably wont happen. i'll probably be on untill im a senior or something. but im goin to get a job soon, and my classes in school fucking suck. i hate school, fuck that place.

but on a good note....i got my sonic youth cd, and it is amazing. i changed my video to sonic youth, the song is "100%" off the dirty album. i was going to do a music changer, but xanga music is down.....so yea it only has a few artists. but if somebody could, give me a link to another site like that that gives you links to songs i would really appreciate it. :)

The falling and rise of rock has happened....rock slowly drifted into oblivion during the late 70's, and keep falling down during the 80's. There was the chosen few that kept this genre alive though...Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Green Day just to name a few......kept rock alive during the 90's. During rock's life time there were the few chosen one's to boost rock on, but most of them couldn't carry out the future of the genre. So rock fell, hard, but it slowly picked itself back up again.  Rap, Hip-Hop, and R&B were taking over the music scene rapidly in the new millenia. But a new buzz was forming in rock, to help save rock. This new buzz  was bringing rock back up fast, getting rock attention again. Even though this buzz was saving rock, it was corrupting rock as it was into one new sound....emo. Emo was changing rock into a bunch of whining boys singing songs about past love, heart-breaks, and chasing dreams. With their catchy songs, and good looks they took over the rock genre....and shut the light out on the other genre's of rock. But it's not all emo's fault...it's mostly the music industry itself shuting out the other genre's. The industry today is only interested in making alot of money fast. It doesn't care about music anymore....it just cares about making its pretty little penny. And as I realise this I walk off into the distance.......with my guitar in hand and lyrics by mind....into the shaddow of the forgoten.......wishing those still holding on to their spot in the idustry luck......wishing them the best of luck.....and knowing..not all good things are supposed to last.....
